The scorched page that Terry found on his property is from a novel titled, Blind Sight. Written by Christian suspense author James H. Pence and originally released by Tyndale House (the publishers of the blockbuster “Left Behind” series), Blind Sight is the story of Thomas Kent, a man who has lost his whole family in an auto accident.
Thomas is called upon to rescue two children from a murderous mind-control cult, and in the process must confront his own anger at God for taking his family.
Blind Sight went out of print in 2007, but Tyndale re-released it at the same time as Terror by Night. The new edition of Blind Sight has special cover copy that mentions the tie-in between the two books, plus a personal note from James H. Pence about what it meant to him to learn how God used his novel in Terry’s life.
James H. Pence is a Christian author, musician, speaker, and performance chalk artist.
